Terms

These terms apply when you use Renova, including requesting a renovation plan or using the quote checker. They also cover Renova Ledger, quick job requests and trade or broker registrations. By using Renova, you agree to them. Renova is operated by Renova Industries Pty Ltd (ABN 18 698 191 178, ACN 698 191 178), Australia. You can reach us at hello@renovaplan.au.

What Renova provides

Renova produces a renovation plan based on the information you provide about your space. There is a free plan and paid Detailed and Whole-home plans. Depending on which you choose, the plan may include an indicative budget range, an itemised budget, a scope and sequence of works, materials guidance, a DIY versus licensed-trade split and risk flags.

A Renova plan is indicative planning guidance. It is an estimate to help you think and prepare. It is not a quote, a fixed price, a contract, or construction documentation, and it is not engineering, surveying, financial or legal advice. Renova does not carry out building work and is not a registered building practitioner.

Quote checker, cost calculator and Ledger

The quote checker flags items that look missing or unclear in a quote you provide. It does not assess whether a price is fair and may not catch every issue. The cost calculator gives general indicative ranges. Renova Ledger is a budget tracking tool: its progress claim checks are a guide based on the figures you enter, and the decision to pay a trade is always yours. Ledger data is stored in your own browser, so keep your own backups.

Quick jobs

When you send a quick job, we may pass your job details and contact details to a local trade so they can contact you. Renova does not employ trades, does not do the work and is not a party to any agreement between you and a trade. Check a trade's licence and insurance before work starts. In an emergency (gas leak, sparking, flooding) call a licensed emergency service directly.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information about your space. The plan is only as good as what you tell us.
• Treat all figures as a starting point and obtain your own written quotes from licensed trades before committing money.
• Confirm permits, approvals and compliance with your local authority and appropriately licensed and registered professionals.

Cost and payment

The free plan, quote checker, cost calculator and basic Ledger cost nothing. We may limit how many free plans one person can request. Paid plans are one-off purchases: the Detailed plan is $28.95 for one space and $58.95 for two to three spaces, and the Whole-home plan is $98.95. Prices are in Australian dollars, include GST where applicable, and are shown before you pay. There is no subscription. Payment is charged at checkout through our payment provider, Stripe. A paid plan also unlocks the paid features of Renova Ledger. We do not see or store your full card details.

Delivery

Plans are generated on screen and emailed to you, usually within a few minutes. Paid plans are generated after payment is confirmed. If something goes wrong, contact us and we will help.

Refunds and your rights

The Detailed plan is a digital product delivered to you, so we are generally unable to offer change-of-mind refunds once it has been generated and sent. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a plan is not delivered, is significantly different from what was described, or is not of acceptable quality, please contact us at hello@renovaplan.au and we will work with you to put it right, including a re-run, correction or refund where appropriate. We genuinely want you happy, so if something is not right, tell us.

Use of your plan

Your plan is provided for your own personal use in planning your renovation. Please do not resell or redistribute it as a commercial product.

Liability

Renova provides general planning information, not professional advice for your specific site. Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and to the extent permitted by law, Renova is not liable for loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on a plan, the quote checker or Ledger. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to supplying the plan again or refunding what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect is the one published here at the time of your purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
